Next Brand are assigned to develop promotional posters for a small audio studio – designed as conversation starters. The idea is to leverage the principle's in-depth knowledge of music though discussion of various promoted topics.
This year the approach was a little 'tongue in cheek'. Two posters were developed as a pair. In conversation, we were impressed by a comment the principle made – that he always 'saw' colours when he heard music. The near literal translation of two great Italian composers' names (Verdi - Green and Rossini – Red) gave us the opportunity to parody the well know Pantone swatch to give a visual representation of the these two 'colourful' composers.
As a small studio, results and feedback is always anecdotal. However, the principle reports that each new poster provokes some discussion and these no less than others. As a pair, in particular, they have attracted additional attention and not a little amusement as the client 'gets it'.
