The DRCN government agency, responsible for the management of the national monuments of Northern Portugal, organized an event in 8 monuments, where one of the activities is a guided tour for children.

We decided to write a story from a legend related to each monument. The guided tour is performed with the help of a map, which has to be written by the children in order to find the solution of the mystery of the legend. Several supports help in the unfolding of the visit: bottles with aromatic herbs, letters written by ancient inhabitants of the monastery, pencils to discover crosswords and other things.

The guided visit has become a game where children have fun trying to solve a mystery while getting to know more about the monastery and its history.
