My concept for this invitation is ocean habitats' extinction. I decided to use a die cut to showcase my concept. When the invitation is close, the insert blends in making the ocean empty. When the invitation is pulled out, the ocean creature's silhouette appears. To achieve a vibrant gradient, I used split fountain screen printing. I screen printed both the outside and the inside of the invitation blocking the text I wanted to show. At the back of the invitation, WWF logo is screen printed as well. The enveloped used is a dark blue shimmery because the event is at night and I wanted to mimic the sparkles on when light hits the water.
