Each drawing presents a unique monster in a style that attempts to mimic frescos and oil paintings, but using Microns and Copics. In addition to this, each are given a name derived from Italian roots: 1. Becco- From the Italian word meaning 'beak’, 2. Piagnu- From the Italian word meaning 'crybaby’, and 3. Baquano- A combination of Italian words meaning 'beast,' 'water,' and 'drill.'
