In this assignment, our class was told to create an alphabet out of physical objects.
Approach
I decided to create my alphabet out of plant life, using branches, leaves, flowers, and moss. I also wanted the plants to gradually decay, representing life and death, from beginning to end.
Results
Instead of using positive space - the plants - to shape the letters, I wanted to use negative space to create the letters, forming the plants around the letters, as this is unexpected, and better showcases the growth and decay over time.
