After the huge success of the previous cocktail menu Grand Hôtel Stockholm asked Priority to create another menu for the Cadier Bar. The theme this time around was ”memories”. Fourteen unique cocktails inspired by various memories such as the first time you felt the morning dew, or the taste of lemon, and the way it makes your face squint. Do you remember the first time you had a fizzy drink? Well there is a cocktail for that too. Fourteen drinks that stray from the trodden path and show a new and creative way of mixology.
To capture the essence of each drink and memory, we used illustrations. We wanted to be able to convey the core of every cocktail, and illustrations were the optimal way of achieving just that. Each illustration is focusing on the flavour and character of the drink. You should feel, based on the illustration, what the drink tastes, or what kind of experience you will get. Each illustration was created to be as unique and fun as each drink.
The result is a menu that accompanies the creative work of the Cadier Bar. The playfulness hits a chord with the guests and has quickly become the talking point among bar goers. Since the menu's launch, Instagram has been full of posts where people show their favourite drinks, and illustrations, creating a welcome buzz for the hotel in these Corona hit times.
