El Alma is a tapas recipe cookbook where I compared the concept of tapas, eating many plates to form a meal, to mosaic tiles forming a bigger picture. Title pages for each section are expressive type made out of the mosaics reminiscent of Spanish typography. As well, my illustrations of ingredients and foods are paired with each recipe.
