Select a nonprofit company you feel passionately about to use as your client for whom you will be creating a series of data visualizations. These visualizations should compel your audience to support your selected nonprofit. Using data to support your concept you will create a series of at least 3 visuals that will be viewed in non-traditional media. Think about your nonprofit and where its supporters may see visuals.
After selecting Covenant Mercies, I researched and categorized the three main ways Covenant Mercies seeks to help orphans in Sub-Saharan Africa. Those being: Healthcare, Education, and Hygenic needs. I then collected data concerning the needs of African orphans along with statistics showing the positive impact of Covenant Mercies. Next, I developed the idea of a campaign to raise money for Covenant Mercies through the sales of products relating to the three areas they assist orphans. These products would be data-driven; with visualizations communicating the poverty of orphans in Africa, as well as, the progressive influence of Covenant Mercies. Furthermore, the campaign would feature a series of social media advertisements mirroring the products' subject manner and visual language.
