At the onset of the pandemic, families spent all their time at home. Unfortunately, that often meant in separate rooms, or glued to their own individual phone, tablet or computer. It also meant time not spent in restaurants in-person.
So for National Family Day 2020, we decided to use an age-old activity to bring families together—the jigsaw puzzle. Once assembled, each puzzle created a custom QR code, which could be scanned through the Zaxby’s app to give them a free Zax Family Pack. It was the perfect opportunity to use a family-sized meal to encourage families to spend time together.
This brand activation not only delighted hundreds of loyal Zaxby’s Fanz with the chicken they love, but it also received several write ups from trade and restaurant pubs such as QSR Magazine & Thrillist to name a couple.
