The project was to create a logo for the Skip the Straw campaign to provide a distinctive, strong identifiable and easy to read mark to represent the movement to skip the straw.
The creative process involved considerations for how this logo will need to be used and to ensure that the logo was bold enough to stand out in materials that will be full of information about the movement. The goal to create this logo that would be both friendly and approachable while commanding at the same time.
The success of this logo and its coordinating promotional materials has been demonstrated by the overwhelming number of restaurants and other food services that immediately adopted the program and are utilizing the logo, signage and promotional materials to help support this movement.
