Event Poster | Conveying Non-Verbal Messages Taken the concepts that were explored and discovered in Project 1, students will create a targeted poster promoting an event. Experimental typography will be paired with more traditional typography to convey a message to a target audience. Style, weight, texture, emotional impact and composition will be further explored. Verbal and non-verbal messaging will be the topic of critical discussions in the development of this project. Examples will be shown.
Utilizing varies materials a reflective and dynamic poster was created promoting the Brewery Art Walk, an artist district in Los Angeles, Ca.
This poster represented many artists working in different media.The experimental approach was inclusive as no one media or artist was highlighted above the others.
