We are proud to have worked for Hi-Mark, Taiwan ROC, for almost 30 years and over that time we have been entrusted to create and mentor their brands.
Acti+ is a new venture for the company into the nutritional supplements market and this complements its Body Sculpture fitness equipment and accessories ranges. Body Sculpture is a global brand and the design had to reach out to a very diverse market – with different languages and cultures. The market for nutritional supplements is highly competitive and premiumised, and it was important that the branding communicated trust and added value.
We created the name to complement the existing Body Sculpture fitness range, keeping it simple and symbolic to ensure it had traction with different cultures and markets – symbolic icons are used to aid the communication of the products efficacy. Whilst the design and typography is both clean and dynamic to give a clinical look whilst also reflecting the efficiency of the product. The cohesive range look and use of white adds to shelf presence and standout, and the metallic print effect adds value with its premium cues.
An additional challenge was the printing of the packaging in China, which we had to help manage from the UK – the print finish is superb.
From launch, the range has been sold in the UK and Middle East and is now selling into China. This has been achieved with very little promotional support. Act+ has been established as a world class brand and the results are impressive.
