This project aimed to redesign the logo for a speakeasy called Hummingbar. The bar needed a more sophisticated and timeless mark to match the ambiance for the place.
Approach
The mark combines a martini's classic shape and elements with a hummingbird. The color palette was directly inspired by the traditional colors of the two elements. To keep the classic ties, a serif typeface was used.
Results
The proposed logo successfully unites a hummingbird and martini by keeping them sleek, simple, and the ratio of both elements balanced. The type and mark successfully interact with one another by matching the type’s serifs with the foot of the glass.
