An experimental social awareness poster that visually depicts the disconnect between remote targeting and its real-time consequences on physical space.

‘No Drone’ was created in protest of unregulated drone attacks responsible for many civilian deaths. The poster merges an aesthetic of early anti-war collages, yet tackles a very modern kind of warfare. The primary image appears to be that of a topographic landscape, but upon closer inspection, the landscape is revealed to be a pair a weathered tombstones—a foreshadowing of impending execution from above.

This piece creates a feeling of foreboding through graphic simplicity by combining the recognizability of a standard practice target, drone navigational instrumentation and physical tombstones.
