Upon my decision to create an ad for Dove, I brainstormed its associations. Women, the target market, are often gifted roses and chocolate by their partners or potential partners on special occasions (or just because). But what is the better option when they have to choose just one? Well, that's plainly obvious- she'd rather have chocolate.

My approach to this ad was successful in its ability to use humorous copy to heighten memorability. The dimly-lit environment maintained the attractive feeling associated with romance and chocolate. The successful utilization of Photoshop tools to enhance the strategically placed headline set the scene for the bite-sized chocolate in a playful yet sultry composition.
