Bill Aitchison has been creating award-winning advertising concepts and campaigns for 30+ years. His work goes far beyond promoting clients’ products and services — his strategic and ground-breaking creative drives consumers to think, feel and most importantly, respond and take action. He is the ideal mix of brand & direct and digital & traditional with an extensive and impressive portfolio. Bill has served as both staff and freelance Art/Creative Director for leading ad agencies including CDM/LA, Chiat/Day, Dailey, DDB/LA, Havas Edge Hawthorne, Ogilvy/LA, Publicis/Dialog, RAPP/LA, Ryan Partnership and Tracy-Locke/LA. Proficient in all channels, Bill has created integrated campaigns for print, out-of-home, broadcast, digital, mobile & social. His expansive experience includes art direction & creative leadership for American Express, Amgen, Bank of America, Black+Decker, BH Bikes, DirecTV, Cigna HealthCare, Dyson, E!, Hamilton Beach, Heineken, Pepsi, TransAmerica, Universal Studios Hollywood & CityWalk and Warner Bros. As the founding VP/CD of Ryan Partnership in Los Angeles, Bill built and supervised a cutting-edge creative department of art directors, copywriters and studio production artists. Bill also played an integral role in the early creative development and successful launch of NetZero. Bill has been honored numerous times for his pro-bono work with non-profit organizations including The Bowery Mission, spcaLA, The Shriners Organization, The Rotary Club, HSUS, United in Light Draft Horse Sanctuary and Cancer Support Community. He is proud to be a part of the marketing committee for the Jewish World Watch’s Solar Cooker Project, which provide solar cooker kits to thousands of refugee’s in Darfur/Sudan. Born and raised in northern New Jersey, Bill lives in Southern California with his wife, two sons and their dog. He’s earned his 2nd-degree blackbelt and has been raised to the degree of Master Mason in the Fraternal Order of Free & Excepted Masons.
