Phil Marco has created many memorable images in print, television, and cinema for clients and collectors throughout the world. He studied fine art at Pratt Institute and the Art Students League. His work is represented in the Museum of Modern Art, The Museum of Broadcasting Arts, The George Eastman Museum of Photography, and is the recipient of virtually every major award of excellence in print and cinematography. His signature is graphic simplicity. A New York Times photography critic called Marco a minimalist, "who's images are sensual, whimsical, often surreal, always strong and deceptively simple". And the filmmaker Martin Scorsese had this to say about Marco: "I've had the pleasure of working with Phil Marco on a number of my films. Phil is a man of extraordinary talents. It seems his passion is to take an everyday object or event and show it in an entirely new and exciting way."
