I am a human centred designer, brand strategist, and an award-winning creative director. Over the last 20 years, I’ve worked with leading advertising and marketing agencies developing breakthrough multi-platform brand and digital experiences. I combine my training in design thinking methodologies with my experience in creative design. This gives me an unique balance of brand strategy and creativity. I’m at my best when I’m diving in deep, deconstructing and examining brand challenges, studying audience behaviours, uncovering insights, working in teams and building brand and digital solutions. My work spans design and promotional campaigns for clients in seven countries. This includes; tech, real estate, home decor, consumer and corporate. I’ve been recognized in major design industry publications and honored in international award competitions. I am a former Senior VP of Sponsorship with the Graphic Designers Association of Canada BC chapter and Event Chair with Graphex. I have been a keynote speaker at industry events including; SPARK, Graphex and Salazar Awards. I’ve been honoured to judge design competitions including; Salazar Awards and RGD Student Digital Media Awards. I was engaged by Trafalgar Luxury Goods based in Kuwait to develop a refreshed brand and new website with luxury products catalog consisting of watches, purses, jewelry and clothing. Trafalgar has over 15 luxury boutiques in the Middle East and is the largest Chopard dealer there. We cast two models, stylists and photography crew and traveled to the Middle East and spent nine days in the Kuwait desert, city and shoreline shooting a fashion catalog. Once complete, we photographed over 400 products, then refreshed the brand identity, designed and developed a new website, brochures and other promotional assets. Completely designing and managing a build of a new modernist home that was to be a 'redefinition of the West-Coast Contemporary' style by Architect, Arthur Erickson. The home was inspired by nature and the forest, valley and ocean views and we used recycled and natural materials including geo-thermal heating and air conditioning. Once complete, it was featured in Luxury Homes magazine as their cover with a six page inside spread. It was also featured on the TV show – "The Real Houses of Vancouver". Lastly, it was to be showcased in Azure Magazine and then to be the TV Series home of the "Good Doctor". However, I sold it before these came to fruition.
