Assignment
This project was made as an advertising campaign for the World Wildlife Fund for an environmental campaign against poaching. Its goal is to raise awareness of the fact that once animals are gone, they aren't coming back; furthermore, all we will have left of them is what we turned them into.
Approach
I approached this project knowing I wanted a visually arresting image with a simple, yet concise, line. I finally decided to place the animals back into their original habitat after they had already been taken and turned into the products of poaching. This provided the eye-catching juxtaposition I wanted between the item and its location. Then, through the copy, I explained the image by telling the viewer that this was the last of its species.
Results
I did this project for an advertising class. It was very successful among my peers and teachers.
