To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the iconic Unidyne® 55 Microphone, Shure produced a limited edition version of the mic based on the original “fatboy” birdcage design, and needed a package to reflect the product’s rich history.
To capture the spirit of the Shure brand, MiresBall took inspiration from archival Unidyne packaging, vintage ads and catalogs. A removable glossy sleeve carried meticulously detailed photography and a rich product back story.
According to Shure sources, the product sold out shortly after release.
