GE has long been viewed as a dynamic communicator that has always been able to successfully meet audience expectations while staying ahead of market trends. As such, in 2015 they reached out to Addison, asking us to help it to evolve its Annual Report so that it not only effectively communicated it corporate message but also gave people insight into what Digital Industrial means and how it effects their lives and businesses.
We focused on bringing GE’s strategies to life through data graphics – to tell a compelling story of GE's evolution into a digital industrial company, while also showing investors how the “GE store” is accelerating their success.
GE’s annual report was again lauded as a clear, transparent communication tool among investors and the media alike. The intelligent use of plain English and information design enabled it to simplify a complicated story, while also giving investors confidence that the company was continuing to move in the right direction in efforts to simplify its operations. A suite of communications was created through print, online and video.
