Design the format and content of a publication that redefines the idea of “magazine” devoted to typography.

I conceived TEXT BOX as a quarterly experimental typography magazine highlighting artists, trends, and events. This issue features Herb Lubalin, a renowned artist, typographer and teacher.

The result is a 3D folding paper publication with expressive type experiments that opens when the viewer pulls off the lid. I used the expressive quality of the falling paper to create the cover.
