The brief was to create a new name and identity for a new Brand strategy consultancy headed up by Tom Banks reflecting his considerable experience, as well as his big and different thinking.
The solution? The proposed name was Quite Early One Morning, that seemed to capture the imagination and be slightly enigmatic in nature. Quite Early One Morning are also the opening four words of an evocative short story that Dylan Thomas wrote about taking a walk through New Quay, in Wales, early one morning after a big storm. Dylan Thomas, of course, was one of our greatest modern day poets and writers, a master craftsman of creative ideas, a well-turned phrase and an opening line that hooks you in - exactly what the brand consultancy aimed to achieve for its clients. The resplendent typographic styling and an accent of bright pink to help signify a rich experience and a more premium offering and create a distinct character. The identity becomes an identity of many logos with the additions of different additional either relevant or evocative phrases that appear on different applications both in print and on-line.
The new identity has real stretch, examples range from the simplicity and directness of Quite Early One Morning… I Had An Idea to wittier ones such as Quite early one morning… I wrote this proposal or Quite early one morning…It all clicked into place or Quite early one morning… The penny dropped
The new identity has had real standout in new business pitches and new business meeting making their offer both memorable and standout.
