To create a unique trademark for Impossible Food, a company that specializes in the development of food technology to reduce negative environmental impact.
I took a conceptual approach of combining the image of an impossible shape (a mobius strip) with a apple. The colors were chosen from referencing photographs of various apple varieties. Ultimately I chose a monochromatic three color scheme of green to highlight the environmental commitment of the company. Gotham was chosen as the typeface, which is notable for its simplicity and directness. The helps to convey the message that the company is approachable and has a simple message. It helps to counter the possible perception that food science is confusing and easily misunderstood.
