IPH Klawonn offers planning services for technical facility equipment as well as energy efficiency consulting. Due to a change of ownership and thus renaming of the company, it was time for a new corporate design including introduction of a new logo. The task was to find a professional appearance which, at the same time, conveys accessibility and expertise.
A very straightforward approach has been chosen. A linear font adapts the technical aspect of the company’s business. Reduced colour and distinct, non-playful artwork meets the professional approach of IPH Klawonn. The only colour being used in the black and white design is copper – referring to the material that is often being used for technical facility equipment as for example for plumbing as well as for electricity. The letter „K“ stands for the owner’s name „Klawonn“ and embodies the outline of a house (standing for the facility industry) with an open door (representing the owner’s open and candid conduct).
The feedback of IPH Klawonn’s clients has been overwhelming. They perceived the new design as professional yet sympathetic and comprehensible. They complimented on the pictographic but straight-forward approach.
