Eaton is a global technology leader in power management solutions that make electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical power operate more efficiently, reliably, safely, and sustainability. Last year Eaton commissioned visual communications firm, Nesnadny + Schwartz (N+S), to create its Online Annual Report. The firm’s role was to develop the conceptual and visual theme, create the overall design, and manage production from inception to launch.
In a world where demand for power is growing exponentially, Eaton has positioned itself as “The Power Multiplier,” and chose the designation as the theme for its 2014 Annual Report. To express this direction, Nesnadny + Schwartz used the multiplication symbol as the dominant graphic for product-driven, and product application-driven photo montages.
The 2014 Eaton Online Annual Report is used by the company to communicate financial information, business goals, and year-end achievements with shareholders, employees, directors, potential investors, and analysts, as well as various local, state, and national governmental agencies. To date the Online Annual report has received enthusiastically positive and commendatory feedback from Eaton employees, shareholders, and customers, and has been successfully used as a recruitment and public relations tool.
