Following a successful test launch of Puffs Car Cups in March 2012 at Target, the retailer requested to make the Car Cups an everyday item. Interbrand stood up to the challenge to create even more engaging designs that were unique and dramatic on shelf.
The Interbrand team began developing the new designs by looking for inspiration from custom car graphics, bumper and window stickers, dashboard bobble heads, road trips, on-the-go accessories, luggage patterns, and more. Through trend analysis research and learning about what makes people happy in their cars, Interbrand developed 6 new designs centered around a “retro road trip”.
Shoppers and consumers can choose from a variety of designs, including hula girl Leah, retro dots, hip luggage, and more.
Now, Puffs is expanding the offer to retailers nationally, filling the unmet need of a car-specific tissue box structure across the country.
