Take the financial info, just under $1.9 billion in 2014, of Kaiser Permanente’s Community Benefit (charitable fund) and encapsulate it into an intriguing, concise, impactful and useful presentation. Wow, that’s a lot of money and even more information about how it was spent!
We used info graphics to illustrate the spend as it represented their pillars of focus. We produced both a printed report (poster scale as well as 8-1/2 x 11” scale) in addition to a responsive website (while conforming to strict ADA guidelines on all pieces). One version was produced so that stakeholders within Kaiser could proudly display posters as artwork in their offices – colorful and informative. Great bragging rights.
Kaiser and specifically Kaiser’s president and higher level management were overwhelmingly pleased. Posters were displayed at the annual meeting, appeared in many offices and have remained hanging all year. The annual report made the president, the department, and the investment in the community look amazing. The strategic implementation also delivered the right kind of message by not being wasteful with resources in the production of the annual report. Overall, an informative and high-impact annual report. A+
