We were approached by Eyrefield Thoroughbred Racing Stables to develop a logo and branding identity for the organization. The primary business goal was to reflect its expansion into horse racing alongside its core horse breeding function. Eyrefield develops thoroughbred racehorses for wealthy international owners and wanted their identity to reflect their premium heritage.
The logo is formed from negative space of the capital 'E' in the name Eyrefield and hides a saddle within --the crossbar of the E forms the stirrup as the distinguishing visual feature. The key difference between saddles used in a racing stable versus a regular horse stable is the length of the stirrups --a racing saddle is smaller and the stirrups are extremely short. This distinction is reflected in the new logo
The new identity is being implemented across client promotional gift merchandize, stationery, and uniforms for the stables. The mark is also being used in social media for PR activation and to promote new business development for Eyrefield.
