How do you reinvigorate an iconic brand to make today’s generation pay attention? Budweiser came to us with an opportunity to use the twist off aluminum bottle as a catalyst for change for the 138 year old beer brand. They asked us break the rules and introduce a new Budweiser that Millennials could feel proud to hold in their hands; something fresh and relevant.
If there is one thing that millennials crave, it’s authenticity. Being a brand full of rich heritage, Budweiser simply needed to go back to its roots.
We identified today’s most authentic and celebrated Budweiser icon; the label. Then, we reinterpreted it into a bolder and more contemporary version of itself.
By crafting all new custom typography, the final product was the perfect balance of old and new.
