The Progressive Corporation ranks third in the nation for auto insurance, with more than 11 million customers. The company offers competitive rates and makes 24-hour, in-person and online services available to drivers throughout the United States and Canada. For the past 13 years, The Progressive Corporation has commissioned visual communications firm, Nesnadny + Schwartz (N+S), to create its Annual Report. The firm’s role has been to develop the conceptual and visual direction, and create the overall design.
Progressive is always looking for ways to delight customers with unique product and service experiences. This means challenging every aspect of all they do in an attempt to provide the customer with greater value. For this reason, they chose “challenging the status quo” as the theme for this year’s annual report. Sculptor and performance artist Nick Cave’s extraordinary “sound suits” also challenge boundaries, provoke thought and highlight details.
The 2012 Progressive Annual Report is used by the company to communicate with shareholders, employees, potential investors, and analysts, as well as various local, state, and national governmental agencies. This year’s Report has been lauded as fresh and innovative, and has received congratulatory reactions from Progressive employees, shareholders, and customers, as well as media and communication outlets.
