Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity posed a challenge, consisting in offering local businesses 50 pounds for their creative use in raising the most money for charity.
We were invited by Socio Design to take part in Nifty Fifty, an ambitious poster project that challenged fifty selected creatives from around the globe to creatively interpret the word ‘Money’.
The fifty posters were printed as an Edition of One and sold through a process of sealed bids. ALL proceeds from the project went to the Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity. The Countess Mountbatten Hospice - raising funds and awareness for people with life limiting illnesses.
We kept the fund-raising poster simple, straightforward and effective, with a well-placed bold sans serif “give,” a real dollar bill dotting the “i.” We believe that “a good poster should speak for itself.”
The amount raised for the CMHC was £3600, exceeding all expectations. Our poster was the only one printed in A1 size and the only one to have a physical intervention (a real dollar attached to the poster).
