Every year clients everywhere are bombarded with generic holiday messages from their agency partners. While we know these messages are well intended, we at Lesli Ink aspire to be different. And exceptional. And creative. So this holiday we turned the hum-drum holiday card on its head and used the opportunity to spread some joy and show our clients the power of creativity.
We reimagined the alphabet as a giant coloring book, with each letter custom-designed. Each of our clients received a black-and-white card featuring their initial. This card included a personalized message explaining the relaxing benefits of adult coloring and how it can help to relieve holiday stress. We asked our clients to color their custom-designed initial and share their creation on Instagram for a chance to win a batch of delicious homemade cookies.
In addition to solidifying relationships with our current clients, the project encouraged several past clients to get back in touch with requests for new work. Our Instagram campaign was a huge success. Not only did it increase our social media following by 25% but we saw an unprecedented level of engagement with our posts. The letters were also used at several colouring events around the city of Toronto at venues such as Dark Horse Coffee and York University.
