Design a brochure for Dynaudio Custom Architectural Studio Series Speakers – Dynaudio's new line of in-ceiling and in-wall speakers. Project included developing a copy theme, narrative copy, concept, design, and creative direction with photographer, CAD Illustrator, copy editor, and printer.
The copy platform introduced the word “In-Surface" to differentiate these speakers from the full line of Dynaudio freestanding box speakers. We playfully use In-Surface typography to touch and cross pages building subliminally on the surface mounting of the speakers. Plus, with one word we were able to eliminate always using the words in-ceiling and in-wall. We expanded In-Surface with spread headlines that support this copy concept: In-Home, In-Loft, and In-Life.
The Dynaudio Custom brochure was designed for the USA Consumer and had to appeal to this market. Our interior photography selections followed Dynaudio corporate standards while being very American. Beautiful product photography was supplied by Dynaudio from prototypes. The exploded views were computer drawn from design drawings.
Dynaudio Custom brochure was designed for the USA Market. It was introduced in Feburary at ISE 2017 in Amsterdam. With favorable responses, the brochure will be reprinted in multi-languages for worldwide distribution.
