FX, FXX and FX NOW was in the historical position to give audiences access to ALL episodes of The Simpsons AND the Simpsons movie in a way that was going to allow viewers to experience the world of The Simpsons however they chose. The challenge was to come up with creative that presented The Simpsons in a way the audience had never seen before. They also wanted messaging that made it clear this was not syndication, this was a new way to experience the show.
The history of The Simpsons is so vast that it was difficult to find something fresh to do with a franchise that has spent decades satirizing our reality and defining our own sense of humor. We would need to find something that on one hand may be so far out there that it had not been done, yet hopefully stayed true to the world of the show and its characters.
We were fortunate enough to have a selection of our work included in the multi-image campaign that FX launched and have the opportunity to collaborate with one of our favorite clients on a project and that brought us in touch with one of our favorite shows.
