RDC is a young architecturally driven real estate, development and construction company based in Beirut, Lebanon. It specializes in residential projects that aim to target middle class and young professionals. RDC is all about modernism, dynamism, and creativity. The assignment was to create a visual identity for a brand that reflects those attributes as opposed to coming out as a dry corporate brand.
RDC’s emblem is an abstract interpretation of the company’s initials, all working together as one entity and framed in a circle. The circle reflects safety and reliability, which such brands should portray for credibility. The rounded edges of the letterforms give the brand a more friendly, modern look & feel. As a whole, it forms a well-balanced geometric logo that reflects the geometry used in RDC’s architectural designs.To break away from the more corporate feel of the brand, we used a bright color palette along with contrasting black & white abstract architectural imagery.
The whole look and feel of the created identity is young, playful and dynamic yet also corporate enough to ensure credibility and trust; 2 values that are important in the real estate and construction industry.
