MADISON SQUARE GARDEN: A SLAM DUNK FOR HORNALL ANDERSON

As Madison Square Garden undergoes continuing renovations, the New York sports landmark asked Seattle-based Hornall Anderson to create “an immersive guest experience” to showcase upgraded suite and partnership offerings.

The Presentation Center space, as it is called, features a theatrical production that connects the past and the future of Madison Square Garden to evoke the thrill of an evening in the arena. Special lighting and video sequences surround visitors with emotional sports and entertainment content. In addition to the Presentation Center, the ongoing story of a re-imagined Garden is also shown through sales materials and a website. The project was done in collaboration with TPG Architecture.

Hornall Anderson understood that Madison Square Garden needed something that could bridge the past and the future — something to inspire fans and visitors with the polish and promise of the new Garden. The makeover of the arena is slated for completion in 2011.

Just another example of ways design helps businesses make money. It's not just pretty pictures and posters....it's just good business senses.
