Calling All Designers: Submit Your Work To The Design Annual 2012 Competition

There is plenty of time to submit your work to Graphis Design Annual 2012. The Call for Entries deadline for this competition is April 25, 2011.

In this volume, Graphis will feature the best international Design work of the previous year. All featured work is carefully selected from a pool of entries submitted during our Call for Entry period. Winning entries will be chosen from a range of categories, which include Branding, Editorial, Environmental, Illustration, Stamps and Posters.

All entered work is immediately available for Online Viewing on our website. To view recent submissions, please roll your mouse over the "Call For Entries" link in the upper left hand corner of the main menu bar of the Graphis website and click on the competition you would like to view in the drop down menu.

To submit, please visit our Call For Entries page. You must complete a Free Registration to participate. The fee for a single entry is $125 for non-members and $75 for Professional Members and the fee for a series is priced at $250 for non-members and $150 for Professional Members. Neverland Lost: A Portrait of Michael Jackson's Possessions

Henry Leutwyler has always been interested in exploring the stories behind the possessions people acquire over a lifetime. In his upcoming exhibit at the Foley Gallery, Neverland Lost – A Portrait of Michael Jackson, he chronicles the accumulations of the King Of Pop.

Back in 2009, while Neverland Ranch was being packed away in preparation for a public auction, Leutwyler was given the opportunity to photograph the objects from Jackson's estate. What began as a project to photograph the pop star’s white glove evolved into a desire to document the hidden life of Michael Jackson.

"It is said that the Pharaohs built tombs to reveal their lives to future generations,” Leutwyler told The London Sunday Times. "Michael Jackson sacrificed his childhood to the calling of his musical gift. Neverland was the pyramid he constructed to a lost childhood."

Some of the images from this series, which range from Jackson’s jewel-encrusted shoe to his studded white glove, were published as Gold Winners in Graphis’ Photography Annual 2010, which is available for purchase through our Store.

Leutwyler is an internationally acclaimed and award-winning photographer. His work has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Vogue, Vanity Fair and Esquire.
